About John

John Lynch taught elementary school students in grades second through sixth for forty-one years before he retired in 2013.  He taught at the Balch School in Norwood, Massachusetts, for sixteen years before moving to Sarasota, Florida, with his family.  John taught seventeen years at Ashton Elementary School and eight years at Tatum Ridge Elementary School. John loves writing, spending time with his wonderful wife, children, and grandchildren.

About Irene

Irene Lynch is a former principal of Epiphany Cathedral School in Venice, Florida, and a member of the Catholic Writers Guild. She is a strong and passionate woman with an undeniable love for God, her husband, John, and her family. Her laugh is contagious, and her faith inspires many. Formerly from Massachusetts, she has been a Sarasota County, Florida resident since 1988. She graduated from Bourne High School in 1970 and Bridgewater State College (BSC) in 1974 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. She received her master’s degree from the University of Southern Florida (USF) in Special Education and her EDS in Education Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. She taught kindergarten, and first grade at Philippi Shores Elementary School, was a Resource Teacher and ESE Liaison at Fruitville Elementary, and was an Assistant Principal at Venice Middle and Sarasota Middle School before becoming Principal at Epiphany Cathedral School. She is a passionate member of St. Patrick’s Church and an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus, Divine Mercy Cenacle, the Eucharistic Adoration team, the RCIA team, and a Eucharistic Minister. She also served as a member of the Legion of Mary at the Incarnation Church. Her community service included being a community director of the YMCA and delivering Meals on Wheels.
