About the Cover Illustrator of "If Today You Hear His Voice"
Christopher C. Shannon Jr. is the illustrator of the book’s cover. After traveling across the U.S. in his childhood, Chris settled into life as a college student in the South. After graduation, he remained there and began a family that expanded to four children with his lovely wife. After years of not finding a career qualified by his diploma, he sought a path guided by his understanding of Our Father’s word instead. Chris is blessed that in this way, Our Father chose him to be set apart from those who struggle as lovers of money. He leans closer to his faith in the word that he will be sustained while proudly maintaining his parcel job of fifteen years and continues to passionately freelance concept art and illustrations for the last ten years. Chris would like to testify “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).”

Penny Weber is a full-time illustrator from Long Island, New York. She works on Photoshop creating digital paintings and has illustrated many picture books for the trade and educational markets. Penny lives with her husband, three children, and their fat cat Tiger.
